Been a long time since someone posted anything, so let's assume that we're either all busy or have been away on well-deserved breaks. I for one have been on a great vacation recently & hence thought of sharing my experiences with all. May possibly serve as reference for all of you who are waiting to go to the same place.
I'll follow up this with a review of my visits to Dubai, Calcutta, Darjeeling & a bit of Bangalore

Went to Singapore on my honeymoon in May 2007. Awesome place. And it's not just me that thinks so. There have been many of my office colleagues who've been there & now can't wait to find a spouse willing to relocate to Singapore :-)
So now that I've whetted your appetite, let's get into the details.
Went by Singapore Airlines. It seemed to be the cheapest airfare (tip - always seems like the local carriers are the chapest). Superb in-flight experience. It's true when people say Singapore Airlines offers worl class service. From free drinks to great in-flight entertainment (I know this might souund like a commercial) it was the best way to fly.
